Walter’s Story

Imago Dei is Latin for “image of God.” The Imago Dei Art Project brings a voice to men living within The Lodge. They participate in art workshops for mixed-media art and photography. Through this project, Walter has discovered that he is an artist. The opportunity for creative expression has served as a form of therapy for him while providing him a source of side income. Profits for program artists’ sales are split 50/50; the artist receives 50% and Inasmuch receives 50% for program costs. Contributing artists, professional artists who have donated their art to the project, generate 100% profit for the Living Hope Program.

The Imago Dei Art Project provides men, like Walter, the opportunity to evolve into budding entrepreneurs, all thanks to uncovering their God-given artistic talent.
